With the huge losses in Venezuela, the failure of the collaboration and integration strategy to win more business despite the increase in NAM activity, the internal laughing joke that is the transformation, the firing of all the experienced personnel and the continued drop in revenues are very worrying. How worried should we be?

This company has been morally bankrupt for years and now comes the financial bankruptcy as night follows day.
This company will take long time to bank rupt. It happen with all giant company if they dont manager right. So by the time they bankrupt we all died already. Now for the wipe out statement from someone. It is true 80%. I see some talent have their own pattern that can be used in the design but still get wiped out just because he not in the gang. All i can say is the talent will be more talent but the cheap and the weak still like a virus on any big company. BULLSHIT MANAGER CANT EVEN READ TAPE MEASURE BUT TRY TO GIVE DESIGN REVIEW FROM GOOGLE DOCUMENT. most funny joke i heard in my life
I agree, if you want to s--- up go to your managers office and assume the kneeling position. Your manager will appreciate the relief as they are sure to be recovering from jaw fatigue anyway......besides, if you are spending your time s---ing up to a douche an little anal leakage is an unavoidable hazard.
what are "we" doing here in this loosers' board? why kiss axx when you dont have to?
https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/SLB/key-statistics?ltr=1 I would say that their total debt is $21.66bn...which if the oil industry was Ok would be just sustainable. The industry is not OK and will not be for some time.
Washed out the weak- domain champions, advisors, 35 yrs in the company..surely weak is your vision but when you experience it yourself you will find out how much you are valued. Only balance sheet and your time bound contribution towards it is valued which depends highly on the market. That equation includes your salary which in turn reflects your hard work and how you were valued. Same number goes against you. Ironical eh??
PS: you say 'we' like your father's last name was Schlumberger.
You know nothing Jon snow - this downturn has washed out the weak and allowed us to expedite our transformation- if you do not recognize the direction, then you are at the losing end of the joke. Look at the incrementals versus peer group and even operators. The integration movement is at odds with the majors and their procurement focus - however the NOC are going to see to the end of the seven sisters and their greedy siblings - a paradigm shift is upon the industry. You can choose to recognize it or be one of these other losers who habitually post to this forum and lament how "I am not valued"
None. SLB is not anywhere near bankruptcy. The only place they are loosing money is North America, and even then it's not a very high percentage of their whole income world wide.
Wait till end of October - you will have your answer
