You're wrong. Something IS going on today. A huge barbecue and a couple of drinks with some good friends. Other than this post, Weatherford is not even going to be thought about.
Well nothing going to happen today. We have off and my hr contact has the day off. Happy labor day to everyone. What is going on this week is no work and nobody cares. Just sitting around feeling sorry for ourselves. To those who got laidoff good for you. Don't ever come back.
It will be before the end of Q3 if we are off our numbers. Bernie needs to shore up the stock price.
Or, maybe the immediate stock price is of little consequence to him now that we can't get any loans or raise cash by issuing stocks.
Maybe the better plan is to drive share prices down. Most of his bonus is based on getting shares or options. Let's say share prices drop to $2 each. Let's also assume the dollar value of this years bonus was half of last year. He would walk away with more shares or a better margin on shares.
Now if oil can hit $65 by next summer and business goes crazy, stock prices could hit $10 plus, Bernie would be doing not too bad on his last few years bonus.
