Bonus and possibly golden parachutes? Amazing.

Top executives get bonuses and possibly the golden parachutes they dreamed of? Frankly, I did not see how creative the accountants could get. An amazing income statement (never mind the enrollment numbers) and an unbelievable balance sheet. Besides all of those unbelievable accountants producing some great numbers, you have to thank the external auditors too. Now does this mean Leon Black and Tony Miller get to put their magic stamps on UoPX in 2017?

What you "dingleberries" are still oblivious to is if the deal goes through, the new organization will be even more numbers driven as they will likely be off the DOE's radar by virtue of being "right-sized"--this is if the dump isn't shuttered for DOE suspension of ALL financial aid for new students. Either way, you hangers-on are f---ed. LOL

Private equity typically equals morals, as in the moral of the story is your previous execs were inept, and thus, we are buying you out to drain what value they left on the table to line our pockets. Maybe there's a future there for you, and maybe they'll treat you with the respect you deserve. This investment partnership is an interesting group. Never know. They could try to right the ship. As an employee, I am angry. You screwed the hard working people. No raises for us, being treated like cattle. We are just a number to you, a dollar figure. Thanks for the moral boost, we all hate you. Why should we work so hard anymore? The new owners just bought a company of pissed off, tired, and fed up employees. I hope you see this, because we have been burned so many times by the current owners, they only hope we have is the new owners have morals.

The answer is always a potluck or activity. What little do they really think or value us thinking a potluck will keep the peons happy. What a bunch of Elitist !!!!!!!!!!!!! Throw some candy or pizza at the peasants. The definition of a Potemkin village is Apollo Education. (In politics and economics, a Potemkin village is any construction (literal or figurative) built solely to deceive others into thinking that a situation is better than it really is.)

As the earnings reports were announced yesterday at 2pm Phoenix time, I was leaving the Cafe. I turned to my right and saw a group of accountants and executives running out of the ten story building with their pants a blaze. What a unique occurrence, I thought. Then a thought came into my head!! Could the two be related, the earning report and the pants a fire. I walked slowly and pondered the scene as I sipped my soda and walked through a cloud of fabric burning smoke. They are related!!!! Oh My!!! I know now the only solution to the problem is a company sponsored Potluck, Snack Cart, or Decorate your cube activity to Turn Apollo Education around.
