One of the First to be go should be the Real Estate Services group. They are one of the biggest worthless support groups that we have.
There is definately a need for some of the services that they provide, but these functions can be re-directed through the legal, procurment, licensing and HR departments.
It is redicioulous how the Real Estate Services department can get away with their large employee overhead and high operating cost, but brings no value or revunue in. It must be nice spending our money as they wish with no consequences. All other departments are still laying employees off, but the Real Estate Services parasites still cling on like a turd in a toilet bowl, they just won't go down. And are protected by Dave Lesar, Lawerance Pope...... Need to break up Tommy Jamils mafia!!!!!!
Just like our government, they don't have any problem spending our money on stupid stuff that brings no value. And continue to spend as if there are no problems in the oil patch or our economy.
