Schlumberger have been stunningly inaccurate regarding the economics of supply whilst pandering to the rapacious stockholders. I feel that there is not a single first class degree, so beloved of HR, lurking around at schlumberger towers. Bad move Paal.
But Paal will read sale it as a success story.
Crude at $50 I can not see any upstream investment anytime soon. Along with with weak revenues, earnings and margins impossible to forecast any good news at the moment.
