These are very likely corporate ambulance chasers. Unless they can dig up something that will make a class action type lawsuit on behalf of the stockholders against the directors and officers extremely profitable, nothing will come out of it. The directors and officers are all indemnified by Cabela's, so all that will end up happening is the money/stock that Cabela's has will maybe get split up slightly differently in the end. Insurance that Cabela's very likely has in place will cover those corporate assets and the personal assets of the directors and officers that may be lost in court. You can't insure illegal acts or punitive damages, so there's that. Usually in the end when the lawyers are done, nobody's punished, nobody wins, just numbers change for the stockholders. The little guys are still screwed.
