My daughter and several others I have spoken with use to use Anthem Blue Cross, This is the new medical plan we all are going too, instead of United Health. Anthem was Hacked and the hackers have all the personal information, Everyone's SS# and address, my daughter has had several new credit cards delivered to her house, Credit Karma has sent them information about strange charges on credit cards, Anthem was even assisting with a free membership to a security firm, such as life lock. I sure hope the plugged the holes before we submit our personal information Oct 17 to Oct 29. Never had a problem with United , but just had to change awaiting more information as to cost of premiums?

Not my personal information. It hasn't been hacked (yet, that is). I'm a Chevron employee in Houston. We're still with United Healthcare until the end of 2016. Hopefully, the Anthem Healthcare administrators have taken the information breach seriously and have set up safeguards so that my information doesn't get hacked. Sorry to hear of your ordeal in California. As for the rest of us, I expect we'd be fine.
