Thread regarding Cabela's Inc. layoffs

Housing

I moved to town and tried to buy one of those overpriced houses. Bank on the hill told me get my 20% down and he would forgive the credit score. I saved up my 20%, found the house I wanted, guy at bank on the hill decides he doesn't want to loan to me afterall.

Four years of rental hell later, I'm only too ready to kiss that a**hole banker's feet!

That sinister real estate agent....same one who's daddy handed him the biz, AND was paid off to keep those women quiet regarding sεxual assault? He was supposed to show me houses but made my skin crawl.... we used the only franchise in town. So glad we did! He saved us from buying a home that had a wet basement that another agent by the tire shop denied had ever leaked.

You should feel lucky you did not get the loan. When the "team" decided to let people go they did not care who had housing or not. When I came into town I was driven around to see the situation. One of my biggest concerns was the quality and lack of housing. When I bought in the first few weeks I found out about the sinister realtor in town. Thankfully we moved out and made a few $$. Brian L did not like it when I challenged the profit on Cabelas Branded Products. I thought is was the great prairie way of accounting. Little did I suspect they were cooking the books. If you do not own you are in good shape to move on. Count it as a "life experience"

No, Points West Bank has an office across the street from the corporate. I'm guessing that's the bank this person is referring too.
