Thread regarding Cabela's Inc. layoffs

Misled

"Millward said he continued construction this year despite red flags about Cabela’s and despite two other contractors pulling out. He kept going based on the assurance of Cabela’s executives, he said.

“We kept being told ‘We’re just restructuring, everything’s good,’ ” he said. Now he and his investors are angry. “To say that I feel misled would not be inaccurate.”"

That's how I feel because I uprooted our family and brought us here. They blindsided many of us.

And here's to the big load...Paul Singer with Elliot and Associates the corporate raider that started this crap sold half his shares he owns in Cabela's this week for a nice 90 million dollar profit. Think he'll maintain his 5.5% stake remaining in CAB before the final meeting? Probably not. In the meantime, Millner and Castner took the bait on the lure that Singer was swinging. Who's laughing all the way to the bank now? The executives have their nice little golden parachute. Sidney should enact a city income tax targeting the executives of CAB and subject them to a 100% tax of their parachute.

String someone along until a sale deal comes through? Nawww, that would not ever happen at cabela's .... when Richard was alive... Now the person who constructs the biggest golden parachute wins...
