I feel like the answers are here. Half the system has already shut down. The DOE is hostile. The general public is weary and irritated that so much money is going down the drain. Enrollment continues to decline at the remaining campuses. Budget cuts have resulted in an inferior quality of instruction and diminishing student support. You're watching the system shut down now.

EDMC delisted from NASQAQ a long time ago.... like 2014... you're a little late to the party bud.
I think EDMC was just delisted from Dasdaq yesterday. Not a good sign.
Don't be so sure. Dozens of for-profits announced closure only hours after Obama was re-elected in 2012.
Exactly right. I don't think the election has much to do with anything.
..... and the DOE cuts off their funding!
For a lot of schools, I think they'll keep on going till their accreditation runs out in 2017. Then they'll lock the doors. It's efficient and cheap.
More layoffs and shut downs in November after the election.
When are the layoffs coming? When you least expect it !
Wait till the Indian company buys em up and we get all that money 💰 💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰
Ha! Some of these losers are hopeful they make a rebound! It has to take intervention from the big man in the sky for that to happen!
It's done! The public is too conscience of the for profit business model these fake schools operate under. Thousands of defrauded students (whose intelligence was underestimated) have joined up to become a pretty substantial collective and will not stop until they achieve justice. They are making lots of noise on this issue, especially on social media, where their presence is heaviest.
NOT SOON ENOUGH!!!
We are going make a comeback and get that federal money rolling in again!
The DOE will be making a move in November. Similar to what they did to ITT.
Think about this. The Pittsburgh division of AIO is gone, AUO did massive layoffs last year, Brown Mackie is teaching out, multiple AI locations are teaching out. There isn't room to layoff more and hope the business can still be successful.
