Wise up folks and stop believing Cabelas has your best interest in mind......Still think they are going to be transparent?????......still believe in the 20/20 vision???......take a look at the close of yesterdays market. There was a total of 8,725,006 shares traded.......3,000,000 was Elliot and Associates......remember them???...the ones who bought 11.7% stake in the company!!!....the group forcing the hands of our current board to sell the company......they just dumped half their stakes and ran. Now let's think about what happened Monday. Bass Pro and Johnny Morris agreed to buy Cableas stock at around $65 and change......Elliot sold their shares for less. The offer BP made is just that....AN OFFER.....If the current board continues to piss away the little cash reserves we have and if they continue to award themselves thousands of shares as so called bonus/entitlement/greed or whatever you choose to name it....if we continue to lose margin during the 4th quarter....then Mr. Morris will either step in and try to stop the bleeding or the price he agreed to pay will drop dramatically.......Do you really think that someone who agrees to pay 5.5 Billion for a company isn't going to have his finger on the pulse of that entity????....WAKE THE HELL UP PEOPLE......8.7 million shares traded on Friday is no joke.....And please stop referring to this as a Merger......it's a buy out.....a pretty hostile buy out forced on us by the greed of our CEO. Our outfitters and managers make more money than those at BP.....it's been researched and proven.....So IF the plans are to keep the entities separate there will be some justifying in the pay scales.....what direction do you think those scales are going to tip????.....Do you think Johnny is going to raise the pay of his employees to meet ours or lower ours to meet theirs????.......You don't agree to buy a car and pick it up in 3 months only to let the current owner enter it in a demolition derby.......People are selling the stock now......I'll also keep looking at the Insider Trading logs that are public right now......bad news is that it's a 3 month lag.....I'd bet everything I have that the other 5 million shares traded Friday came straight from the Good Ole' Boys club......Protect yourselves and start looking out for YOU......

It was almost as laughable as the cold war Soviet era disinformation the USA lol'd at. I asked a co-worker why all of a sudden a 20/20 agenda? Seemed too much a distraction. I would not put it past the new ownership structure to really screw over the outfitters more. This company is another Walmart.
The whole 20/20 deal was a shame. Tommy is notorious for selling companies- - a lot of lives were ruined for the greed of the execs. They are crooks. Cabelas will cease to be quickly upon full takeover, it is a fact
2020 vision left me wondering what the plans for 2017 2018 and 2019 were.
