Managers should be nervous, they are next....Too many Managers and large salaries so that's why the new onshore org chart was streamlined in Holly's last Townhall if you caught it...wasn't up on the screen very long. Not much in Midland so expect lots of attrition.

If Anadarko management really embraced the core value concept of people & passion and open and honest communication, the real intent behind this new "re-org" would at least be honest in respecting our intellectual capacity as APC employees...A layoff is a layoff!
One thing we may all need to consider since the word "layoff" is being avoided this round: iS ANOTHER ACTUAL ROUND OF LAYOFFS ALSO ON THE HORIZON?
Trust APC, believe in the core value's. I hope that's satire. You know what believing in core values and trusting my (inept) leaders got me? a severance that wasn't really a severance just my PTO owed and my Bonus. Let that sh-- sink in.

I thought RW said no more this year. I feel for those who don't want to go to Midland but need to for financial and insurance reasons. If you move to Midland and get laid off it will really be tough.

Embrace the Core Values and you'll be fine. There is absolutely nothing wrong with believing the company has their employees best interests in mind. Integrity and Trust is key. Trust that upper management will take care of you and your family because you have worked hard and have been productive. Trust that layoff decisions are based on professional competences and have nothing to do with family and friends.Trust and believe.
