Does anyone know if they hire ex-employees at all? I used to work as analyst while ago, wasn't laid off or anything, left CTS in good terms after my contract ended. Now I'm trying to apply again and HR is not giving me any reply. Do you know anyone who has been rehired, or should I just give up?

One of my friends applied applied within 10 months of rejoining and have gone through 3 rounds of Technical Discussions and waiting for update from HR. There was no update from HR, So my friend called HR and when checked about the updated they informed " You will not be rehired till the completion of 18 months from the day you left"
Cognizant does rehire associates. But, does have a policy that if an associate rejoins within 2 years then they come back at the same designation as they left. But there have been many people who has come back to Cognizant.
Is there a rehire policy? I was an ex employee of CTS 1.8 yrs back. when I tried to come back to the company HR says about the rehire policy where your CTC and designation will not have a big difference when hired back? Any case where you had a good CTC and designation change?
Yes. Cts does rehire. I myself am rehired. After 2years. Different project and account though.
i dont think so.i have asked so many ppl nd talked wid hr ppl to but it seems willingly dey dont want to help.

I know a person who was re-hired. In fact, there are few that were hired back. The employee id remains the same
