We can cut significant costs, improve our image, improve efficiency, by laying everyone off in Bartlesville and centralizing those jobs and functions to Houston. Why maintain a dead end accounting center hundreds of miles from any other company operations? Everyone wants out of there and no one wants to go there!

We have the office space here in Houston so let's just shut down Bartlesville now!
Bartlesville is the basement of the out house!
I have to agree with the last post - Houston s---s!
Yes I know crime, drug and traffic free Houston is Nirvana for some. I'm happy here and hope you are happy where you are.
If you truly have any expertise at anything it certainly isn't decision making! Choosing to go to a dead end meth town like Bartlesville wasn't exactly a good one! I know that now you are there you want to defend it but there but really there are better things you can do with your time!
Bravo to 1sxr for the reply. Damn those B'ville haters that go on and on and on...
I happen to be one of the employees in Bartlesville and I like the way you are willing to just shut down a whole town for the benefit of yourselves. There are plenty of people who like the small town life of Bartlesville. These are good people and I myself have pride in the work that I perform. I was recruited to come to Bartlesville do we all aren't performing dead end accounting jobs as you put it. There are plenty who are considered experts in their areas and tax is one of those areas. Do you really want to just let all if that just walk out the door?
The wolves are waiting...

Sounds good! We have the office space and plenty of people ready to fill their spots. Let's get it done! Shut down Bartlesville!
