Thread regarding NetApp layoffs

NetApp CEO sells ~48,000 shares of his stock

Looks like NetApp CEO George Kurian sold ~48,000 shares of his stock the other day. I guess he's taking advantage of the recent spike in share price?! ~ $1.7Million ... that would be plenty to buy a nice new house :-)

If Kurious George thinks NetApp is heading in the right direction why sell now? Another $10/share would be another 1/2 million $ in his pocket. He must know something that we don't unless $500,000 means nothing to him. If that is the case there is no way he can relate to the bothersome little people who work at NetApp...

"After taxes, he might be able to afford a townhouse in an "okay" part of the bay area. Sick."

you must be out of your mind....... how i wish i can get such a deal ....

After tax $1.7 million would be $1.1 million in hand...... .

Look at palo alto homes http://www.zillow.com/palo-alto-ca/ and a 1100 sqft condo is listed at $1.5 million...

I think he has to sell all his shares and then he can think of a 25 year old townhome in the not so good part of palo alto.

As for a nice house for 1.7million , he would have to move to Mebane in North carolina
