Weatherford doesn't reward workers with skills. The key to success in Weatherford is a pressed shirt and a good vocabulary. You don't need skills. This is evident with how poorly the company is doing even during oil booms. I wish I had a front row seat at the bankruptcy hearings.

It wil be hard to entice laid off employees. Less money, same managers, not enough workers, crappy equipment, higher insurance costs, and not 401k matching. It seems as if they want you to go to the competition.

WFT has always given employees who F**** up in their previous jobs the chance to try again as a more responsible person within the company. Mostly they come back as a manager this or a coordinator that. To me it's clear why WFT always under performed and why they are now where they are.

The hard working always have to endure the clueless people on top with their so called one WTF minds.

If this company would listen to people who know their jobs, just than I think they would get back in business again. In other words, lay of the so called managers who kissed their way up.

It saves a lot of money and most likely the good people who worked for WFT before might come back.

It will be gratifying to watch from outside as the wft ship sinks during the upturn. You can't expect to pick up business if employees aren't in place to handle it. The few employees left will be iver worked and will go to another better staffed company, leaving wft to try and call back the ones they laid off. Not many will go back to wft again. Bahahaha

Take care of filed personnel !!! Ha!!! they don't care about anyone bar their own fat useless arses, they get rid of the people that know the job and keep the useless ones who won't say boo to a goose. When the upturn comes there won't be anyone who knows how to handle it left at Weatherford. The stories I could tell you about Weatherford and the way the operate would make your hair stand on end !!! They will go down fast as they won't have anyone who knows anything about the oilfield, that's if they are still operating in the oilfield when it turns around. As the man says, they will reap what they have sown and it will be a pretty bare crop !!!!

No they won't. They should have kept some of us long time employees with so much product and service knowledge to be prepared when it gets busy again. They are sending their knowledgeable people to other competing companies. Maybe they are happy not being the best they should be. But in the end, they will reap what they have sown
