Any update on SHTC job cuts expected in October?
Severance is 1 wk per year of service (statutory minimum). Bonuses available for not leaving before redundancy date.
Further bonus paid for "knowledge transfer" based on meeting objectives (not yet set).
Meeting on Monday (5th Sep) to announce the decision after the close of the consultation period.
Likely outcome of decision:
55 staff will be losing their jobs - that's the entire staff.
Redeployment or transfer to Clamart is next most likely, but only for a few people and even then temporarily for "Knowledge Transfer".
Don't expect any meaningful DTS production or support after October.
