Thread regarding Schlumberger Ltd. layoffs

Dear SLB, Just STOP with the survey reminders!

I just want to come in do my job and add some skills to my resume just in case I'm next in the list to get axed. We all know there is a survey coming up. You told us, put up posters, e-mailed us, mentioned it in meetings, have it posted all over the SLB site and now what? You push a flipping video to our PCs?

Come on!!! People are so sick of it and it isn't even available yet! We will take the stupid survey. The results will need to be "corrected" just like all other surveys you've given us. Do you want to know what people really think? Read this forum, stop managing by using scare tactics or just ASK us!!!

I would love to take that survey and give my honest feedback on SLB, is there a place online to go and take it? Nevermind, I will just say what I need to here. Schlumberger is a crap company to work for long term and treats employees like disposable heroes. Cue up the mettalica, you will do what I say when I say back to the front!

yes, do surveys while laying off all these low lives in mass, they wont say anything negative because of concerns for being tracked

If there were decent managers who could justify their high pay then Schlumberger wouldn't need to use an external company to gather the obvious core feelings. I think this survey and the need for it speaks volumes about the quality of managers employed by Schlumberger.
