Does anyone know what they are paying senior mud engineers in the Rockies right now? I've been asked to come back from LOA as a field mud engineer....it will be a couple steps down but could be worth it to get back to work.

their first priority is to screw you over
It's a trap dummy.. they ll lower ur pay, take ur vac, then lay u off and pay u 25% of what they should pay u per year of service. Don't let them a--holes fool u
*To put mud on
Expect a salary and a nice big diiiiiiiiick.
congrats, hope this is catching. the current suggestion is to negotiate a sign on bonus to recoup some amount of losses, especially since you are a former employee and will not need any training. the second suggestion is to rock the boat by asking for a severance package up front, should you be laid off at a later date. just like the golden parachute boys do.
Good for you… good luck… even if the pay isn't good you should take it… something is better than nothing and cobra is expensive….
No new rigs in the rockies yet, goodluck!
