I work in the automotive section at Sears. I checked my email today and an interesting item came up. It stated that the auto section has to pay the main store when Shop Your Way points are used. We are now directed NOT to use the points unless the customer tells us to do so. The letter said it was okay to ask, at check in, if the customer was a rewards member but we are no longer permitted to ask if they wish to use any points at check out. That is such horse crap! The program is a joke to begin with and now we are supposed to let the points expire! How dishonest is that?
