Heard a supervisor in the asset told his whole team not to worry only 25 from BU would be cut and that they were all coming from teams that report to Houston ....

The rumor is 25 people, not sure where those are coming from, I can't see them cutting production much more without hurting volumes.

IvvxHri-wla... why do you say alot of waste there? From the slides I've seen they have lower lifting costs than alot of the other assets.

Majority of cuts will be in the San Juan Asset out of the 380 from the Lower 48. Lot of waste in that BU.

Accounting, engineering, land, and HSE. Eliminating, moving, outsourcing many support functions and jobs. Mature production asset, upper management and HR no longer needed on site. Mature asset in minimize expenses and maximize profit (not production) mode.

Just look for the folks that aren't that busy, anything to do with continuous improvement, operations support, more than one engineer per rig, unnecessary middle management. Then make sure they have no friends up top, cause if they do, their job may be completely worthless but they'll just get shuffled into another worthless role somewhere else cause they know somebody.
