I've spent several years working directly and indirectly on multiple OE/CI-related projects...classic "why can't we just force them to do what we tell them to?" scenario. I actually had a Hrap-1 zombie seriously ask me that question one time, true story...also had an iOF numbnuts intimate the same thing in a meeting as if it were a baffling conundrum lacking solution...my humble advice to both was to ignore reality & human nature @ your own peril. and get this...as far as i know, they're both still employed by COP (!) the management types who push this horseshit are utterly clueless about what goes on in the real world of extracting hydrocarbons from the earth...they're just trying to get everyone else to buy into their self-manufactured bullshit for the sake of putting feathers in their own arses. it's all an utter waste, they're just too fkng stupid to know it and too arrogant to back down from their own ignorance.

It is the Norwegians in uk that have messed it up.....absolutely f!?£in useless, lazy and believe their own self importance. Can anyone point to real savings and not manufactured (hypothetical) savings the Operations Excellence has provided? I did not see any but I did see a lot of wasted time trying to conform to their mandates.
