DORs demoted to MORs pay cuts coming

Anyone receive their "new offer" letter yet for the demotion from DOR to MOR yet? No. Why? Because they are still calculating how much to cut your pay since you'll be dropping pay grades. But, it's more than that. Think it's not that big of a deal because the policy states you can only have one pay adjustment per year and you'll have time to look for a new job? Think again. Expect policy changes to come next week that makes pay grade changes effective immediately. I.e. you're about to get your pay cut by 20%+.

No worries to the others though. The call center will make it so that any monkey can do the MOR's job, after they quit.

Have faith though... we all know the call center is the recruitment Savior we've been waiting for.

Just wondering has this happened at any of the campuses yet or will it happen at the end of week of payday like all of the "layoffs"? Just asking because our DOR seems pretty calm, cool and collected right now.

I wonder if MOR's will be cut from the smaller campuses?? Doesn't seem like there would be a need for them if there are only 2 reps and a Campus director.

If an individual is demoted from a higher position to a lower position in very rare situations a pay cut has not been giving, usually is not 20%; it is about 10%. Wondering if the pay cut and demotions have happened at Headquarters. When will be the time that Districts are officially shrink and district managers are let go.

Stockholders loved it earlier this year when CEO reported downsizing. That was right after he had purged the full time faculty. Modany assured them dropping enrollment was compensated by "rightsizing."

ESI is expected to put out its second quarter financials soon -- in the next week or two. Now he can bleat about his brilliant call center idea, how many millions he is saving the company.

So, prepare to be outraged! Modany always gives out a statement with his financial reports. When he dumped most faculty, and made the few remaining take on an insane work load, he told the public how proud he was of his dedicated faculty and staff. He said that our sacrifices allowed the Opportunity Scholarship to continue, allowing more poor people to stay enrolled at ITT-Tech.

At least a while ago, they had about 6 different pay table, depending on the size of school & location. Of course there are multiple salary grades in the tables. When they give a raise or lowering of salary is probably really up to them, since they set the at-will rules ( basically, take it or leave it)

I'd bet that policy will only apply to demotions not promotions.
