Two friends and family events in 60 days? Hmmmm....that does not really match the statements we made on the investor call a year or two ago about getting rid of the discount events because they were poor business practice and hurt margins.

The people who know what is going on are not going to post here. I suspect that the deal is done, and the "spin" is being developed. I know of some who got out of the office recently for "greener" pastures. The "Green Roof" appears to be leaking on the upper management with cash and stock options in their golden parachutes as they help Elliot and Co part out the company.
The epitaph may be all that is left for Cabela's and Sidney, NE. Let's see what Dr McCoy has to say, "She's Dead Jim". RIP - A once great company with values and culture stripped down the cash value and the customers of today suffer, not knowing what true customer service is, or rather was...
Earnings call is less than 2 weeks away. Guess we will see who is dumb then....
They have to keep showing comps up in sales. They think the buyers are too stupid to look at margins. I mean the board IS dumb AF.

Thank god we are not going to stick to the strategy of 1 year ago.... We're getting better.
The discounts they give out arent really that crazy and the end of the month has come and gone...still no word on what's going on.
