Managers and directors we're always pressuring employees to contribute to their chosen charities and if you didn't you obviously were not treated with favor. employees often discussed how much out-of-pocket expenses they had in donations food water school supplies pitching in for everybody's birthday cakes baby showers etcetera and we were not getting raises and so the out-of-pocket expenses for some people really started adding up and people that get paid a lot of money on higher levels don't seem to understand that concept that people only have so much to give they should have just asked everybody for a standard amount and spread it out amongst everything plus they had people doing volunteer work that was physically demanding and people could get hurt and people with disabilities could not participate but the volunteers would go to take the time away from the office and leave the non volunteers and a hot mess and a high-volume call center. which was the punishment for not being a volunteer to stay at work and handle hundreds of phone calls because your teammates are all gone really build a real giving atmosphere. and then the company takes credit for being so charitable when the money is coming out of the pockets of their employees.
That was pretty funny. Thank you.
You made me laugh. Thank you
I worked at Apollo / UOPX for 10 years, that is all BS, they are not community minded, they are enrollment minded.
I love how they take credit for all the donations which employees contribute to. They act as though the company donated the money to different charities. You have to be an idiot to bring in canned goods or anything. Why try making this company look good. They don't do a dang thing for us. If anything, give the items to the local charities directly or to the food drives held locally which are part the actual donation centers. Don't let these weasels get any undeserved publicity. The mockery of the flags they do each year acting like they are doing some great thing. Instead of wasting the money on the flags just to get a few publicity shots, how about give to the actual organizations. Cut off all donations to this company.
