Please make sure that you are reading the sears layoff.com also. It appears that the first week of September, layoffs and store closures are going to take place. Those stores that laid the assistant manager, and full time associates will be on the closing list. Those who didnot layoff the assistant manager, and you are a phase 3 store, you will have layoffs in your store to prepare you for the next round of closings after the 1st of the year. Sears holding will be fighting a battle to last til June 2017. Make sure to read sears layoffs.

Ouch, that S U C K S, good luck to everyone.
From what I am understanding, the actual closing list may be announced this Friday. The day after the Q2 financial results. the liquidations would actually start 2 weeks later.
To clarify what they are saying make sure to read the Sears section of the layoff.com board. It is more up to date than the Kmart section.
