What are the rules for eligibility? If you are eligible for pension (65+), but have not started the pension, are you still eligible for unemployment benefit ?

Jep, does this apply to all states, especially California? Secondly, if you delay the pension annuity, would that be considered as no pension for UI benefit purposes?
Pension and retirement accounts (401k or IRA) are exempt. They are not considered for qualification of UI benefits. If you are laid off for lack of work, you will qualify.
