The days of making an honest living are gone my friend, I do feel your pain.
CEO's go higher by laying off enough people and taking their salaries. They don't care about the families that are dependent on those paychecks. The CEOs need to maintain their high lifestyle and high bonuses. AKA families paychecks. They are the greediest folks I know. Fair, no, but I have yet to make it that high. You have to be able to lie, and play politics really well. I am horrible at both.
