in September? Wave of "performance-related" firings across WFM, those "lucky" enough to stay on will have their workloads weighed down. GET OUT NOW BEFORE YOUR CO-WORKERS START FIGHTING YOU FOR A JOB AT ANOTHER COMPANY.

its just a hunch, a bet, but i was right on the nose with my bets this time last year... no severance packages moving forward, teams merge through attrition, then once that pace falls off, postings where tls leave voluntarily or one gets an atl position offered so again no severance, the third option is taking a role the know they will fail at and being terminated. Turnover is 125-150% a year like most large box grocers and 225-250% for new stores. With almost all stores needing pfds tms we move to very heavy commissary production, with lower commissary wages. After 2 more years the model expands to the million dollar stores and the final icing is the traditional model with a perishable and a non perishable manger and the stl overseeing admin/ front end and produce. All but the few FT old timers holding on to wages that will not move up will be hired PT, the atl role will move to the traditional model where they perform a supervisor/ team trainer role with the same type of wages. 2020 is the goal for all of this to happen, this is just a guess based on how this has happened with other retailers. But again this is not based in any facts.

Prepare yourselves for some drastic changes. None of the BS we have be told about leadership is going to happen. At the end of the fiscal year, anything goes. If you have a back up plan awaiting you, just follow that lead unless you want to linger n go down with this whole sh-- show.

The TL combinations will officially begin. TLs will have to make some tough choices. As last year proved, the best or better ones will leave, the terrible or less great will stay. Attrition will continue, as average TMs will keep realizing how awful conditions have become and will understand that these conditions are here to stay.
