COP Canada - Severance and RSU

In Canada, how many years you get for each year of service? Do they round to the full year or prorate? And what about unvested RSUs?

brv, guess you can not spend a little time and go to COP's web site and get the answer to the question! It is there for all to read! Help yourself! Or is reading comprehension an issue!

RSUs vest immediately. Does anyone know what happens to the DPSP? Is it included in your payout?

I don't really care what you Yankees get. I want to know about Canada, nothing else. Youse guys who can't follow simple directions must be on the next layoff list. Eh!

That is correct. In US calculation is year of firing minus year of hire. Doesn't matter what time of year you are hired, just subtract year of hire from 2016 and that will be years of service.

I don't know about Canada but in the US only full years count. I had 2 years and 10 months and they only counted the 2 years.
