Who wants to buy them? Their phones su, their wireless access points are piece of cr, there are dime a dozen switching companies selling better products, they are 10 years behind in strategizing for cloud, they rely on shortest path bridging, but other than that what else is in their favor?

Really? So the Genesys bid for contact center is dead? How much could our data business be worth? Isn't the idea to sell a big chunk of business in order to payoff the choking debt we have?
Avaya was always on sale. But since they have failed to get potential buyers for UC and CC business, the plan B is to sell off Data and intellectual rights.
Yes, Avaya is not for sale but only some portion specially Data for sale.
