Seems like Ops is new and does not really what is happening here, few examples: QCT operations,these guys keep hiring people even though there is no enough work for these guys to keep them busy, QCT Quality, these folks don't even know what Quality is, they are not technical, starting with their VP, director etc. lowest voice in the organization, HR does not give a damn for employees, QCT PMIC with an a--hole as VP, with no education. Etc do you need more? I suggest you to find another job at diff company.

Here's what happened; in the early 90's the world needed a modulation scheme for cell phones. QCOM positioned itself with patents and technology for CDMA. CDMA was chosen, and many of the employees became rich on stock options. The stock market pumped extreme amounts of money into the company stock, and most of the talented employees no longer needed to work. Most of the remaining employees were of average ability, so the company was really just, average. But the extreme wealth made many people feel like they were gifted, and so you have a large group of average people pretending to be gifted, while riding a technological wave that is getting old. For low level employees, thats not a good situation. But at least its in San Diego.

QCOM's founders use to inspire QCOM employees to work nights and weekends to get things done and move the company forward. Now we have people like George Davis (CFO), who can't muster the respect of even the lowest rank person in his organization. If only George knew what people in his organization think of him. However, my sense is that George's ego would prevent him from connecting the dots.

Toxic bosses at Qualcomm are common. Whatever happened to being one of The Best Companies to work for in the US? Cadillac health plan became a crappy benefit- almost useless. Morale is at an all time low. Horrible Management! 😝😝
