I surprised only 1000s per hour are looking. I was also coding in open space and hear manager talking about such site with my director. I hear others talk in the break room so go look.
Cisco should use this informations as FAQ on the internal site so we can have answer. We know for one month big layoff coming to our team so cheaper people can be hired, but the managers claim not to know anything. I guess that's why they manage.
At least here we get informations. Can someone send link to IT or HR and ask if we could post these on jive?
number of hits can be real...i overheard another teammates talking about this site in open space while I was coding and couldnt code because of it.....then i went to the restroom and over there also heard 2 people talking abt this site..then i went to cafeteria, a big group was discussing abt it....looks like half of cisco is here...
this site popped up as a topic during our team lunch on Monday, there were 10 of us in the conf room, 3 folks heard about layoffs.com - so that's your estimating factor, multiply that with the number of employees, add contractors, some family members, nosy neighbors, competitors, a journalist or two... everyone wants to know whats going on... the numbers kind of make sense and i do not think it's fake...
Thousands of people are freaking the f*ck out because they might lose their job... that's how.
Pretty sure this is real. Several people work at Cisco....some would say even 1000s....
Look below... it's much less than 1000s, it's more like 100 / hour...
