I see some 55+ guys "retiring". What does their package entail? What if they dont take it?

A pension with at least 50k, some extend salary period, and service years at least 50k, some kind of extend insurance could be convert to money. 401 later. The whole package could make up more than 100k. However he must has 20 service year or i dont think they offer a retire package. Other nullhit package i dont want to know.

a friend was let go however his boss announced to the group that he decided to retire with a nice package from the company.
