Manufacturing does not need Engineering! Well I always thought that manufacturing produced the items Engineering designed, I must have missed something.
Aberdeen Engineering cut to 5 staff to complete open projects and SUPPORT the production.
Why.... Singapore, Dubia and Eastern facilities only have minimal Engineering cover.
USA Engineering always struggled to support Globally but our ESTEEMED LEADERSHIP (misnomer if ever seen one) has decided to lay off 20+ Qualified and experienced Product Engineers making BoD a handicapped facility as Singapore etc. A handicap that shall impact Singapore etc. as BoD engineering supported these facilities. I pray for USA Engineering, they are about to become a whole lot busier. Better sub out the work when business returns, if any contractors would want to touch the toxic BHI.
I assume that the Halliburton, Weatherford and all the smaller innovative companies shall profit from this stupidity once the business picks up. I am sure none of the experienced Engineers shall wish to return to BHI ........
Was this another Art special, lets cut the costs and be a hero of the moment, do not consider the future, then potentially say "oops maybe I made a mistake getting rid of these guys" once reality hits. Not the first time we would have heard those words from Art.
Why is he not accountable for the damage he has exercised on BHI over the past years. Is this possibly due to those around him being dumber than he is?
