I'm currently interviewing with QC and waiting to hear back but I'm not getting any info at all and no response on email. It seems like they have literally gone offline on me. Anyone knows what's going on?

HR does not work either Mondays or Fridays, the y deserve few Days off a week as the y work very hard on layoffs and PIP's..... Even managers and directors do the same thing. HR is so currupted and is the worse i have worked with in my entire 20 years. Is good that Qualcomm is coming to the end so no one Will hire them !!!
Interviewed there over a month ago. Total silence ever since. I recently made contact and they are still thinking about it. I don't think you should trust their inter-department communication. Also something weird is going on in their HR department where they are understaffed or something.
They had an emergency and will be back to hiring as soon as the fire the sexual harassment victim who reported it to them and provide cover for the VP. Plus they had a lot of PIP's to process out.
There are a lot of open positions. They receive thousands of resumes and it takes time.
Here's the deal when it comes to job searching. Don't ever become comfortable and stop looking. You may have had a good interview with a company but all kinds of things happen that you cannot foresee keep looking and keep interviewing... If you only interviewed for one position at the Q don't stop there submit your resume for EVERY possible position you are qualified to fill.
Most likely it is a position for someone who already works at Qcom and applying for a GC. They have to post the job that the current H1B Qcomer's is holding and interview candidates, by law. You can look at it as a good opportunity to sharpen your interview skills and move on.
Did you check your internet connection? Maybe your router is down or your cable got unplugged,
H-1bs will never sue QCOM and will work around the clock by fear of being deported: QCOM is modern slavery.
Lots of Thousands of h-1bs are being brought over every year at Q; this is part of strategy to renew workforce.
Yes they have gone dark. You were only interviewed so they can prove they tried to fill role. H1b getting shipped as we speak
They haven't gone dark. I am currently hiring multiple people and have offers out there. Hiring process takes awhile.
