Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

University of Phoenix's Redflint Innovation Experience? Really?

What do people think about the RedFlint Innovation Experience opening up in Downtown Las Vegas this September? I've heard that Tony Miller (Vistria) is on board with this.

Does anyone know how much it will COST to open and maintain RedFlint?

Who these Iron Yard people?

At 300 S. 4th Street, I can't imagine that it will get business, but could be wrong. It's in a less than perfect part of town, near the detention center and some of the most run down casinos in the area.

And Vegas has a long history of flops.

@IAS1hq1-2cuk, it would be great if University of Phoenix would reform.

The lazy and uncaring should quit. Those who are racist, sexist, classist, and homophobic should quit.

Those interested in education and ethical behavior should stay until they can find a more ethical company. That is, if they can take the heat--and resist the pressure to just make numbers when it will hurt the company in the long run.

Which group are you in?

As I have said several times, Todd S. Nelson set a tone at University of Phoenix that damaged it from within. It was racist, sexist, classist, and homophobic. Some of decisions still haunt Apollo Education.

Camden, you twatnozzle. The salary you were paid to teach in the prisons and community college was government money, and look at what a waste that turned out to be!

You b--ch when UoP tries to find new ways to educate people, and you b--ch when they don't.

You tell people they are part of the problem if they keep working there, then tell them not to quit (troll comment on another post).

Do you actually want UoP to improve the education product it provides, or are you just content to keep whining about how unfair life is without doing anything meaningful to make it better??

They are throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks ... face it, you're late to market, add no value, have nothing significantly unique, have no barrier to entry from competition and will never succeed because you're too slow to implement and adjust as needed. You don't help any students, have horrible leaders, incompetent leadership and are over priced. You lose!

So Jerrad "left" UOP and now he is COO of Iron Yard. When people walk in to the Redflint center in Las Vegas and if they want to learn about routing and switching the staff at Redflint might refer them to the Iron Yard. Why??!! He made UOP garbage why is he running another "scholastic" business and why would we be sending him our potential students makes no sense.

@IAS1hq1-zil, you sound like management. People at University of Phoenix are asking about this project because they consider it a boondoggle. And it's different than the PR. I wanted more information about how all those government funds are used. Even your side.

Do you know how much this project cost and where the money is actually going?

Being an outsider and a subversive troll, you need know nothing about any University operation. You are subject to prosecution if and when you are found in violation.
