regardless how much singapore is favoured over us at arbroath, putting all our efforts into painting and cleaning and rearranging stuff yet again cant surely help the figures. as far as i have seen nothing has gone out of the shop this month so far.
seems like a wee sore point has been touched here. In a democracy we have to abide by the decision of the majority. unfortunatly we voted to remain part of the united kingdom and as such must abide by the decicison of the majority. Most scots, and in this i include myself, are tolerant of immigrants but the english have a problem with the shear numbers of people coming into the country. Singaporeans will be protected to an extent, due to the caveats that go with the trade deals and agreements when global companies decide to open plants in Singapore. It's harder to fire staff, just like being part of the EU gave workers more protection. Now there is nothing in the way to stop a UK Tory government stripping UK workers of even more rights and protection, the opposite is true.
ach at least well now all be able to get jobs on the fruit farms paying below the minimum wage as they'll not be able to hire Eastern Europeans in a few years. Thanks all you Brexit voters for securing our futures and new careers for us all.....
