The corporate retards don't have a clue what the Petrolite side does, like the last poster stated it continues to make money for the BASTARDS month after month, so Crackerhead and his fellow maggots can free load around the country in the finest hotels and stuff their guts with free food!!!!
I would venture an educated guess that Baker Petrolite is paying many of BHI bills though this downturn. As the Petrolite revenue stream is based on long term customers, as well as production, their revenue line remains fairly stable, even in bad times. As long as the client is producing oil or gas, Petrolite generates revenue. Obviously they have had to cut their prices and staff somewhat, however I doubt that they have seen the drastic drop in revenues and PBT that the divisions tied to drilling have seen. I worked for Petrolite for many years, 25 to be exact. We were always the retarded stepchild..................until a downturn arose, then BHI loved us until the price of oil rose again. Then back to the sandbox filled with dogshit. Because of lack of foresight by the top dogs at BHI, Nalco/Champion is kicking Petrolites assright now, and will continue to do so after the recovery.

we all may have differences, extreme-dislikes towards some people/divisions/countries etc, which is ok.
But can we atleast have some sane discussions instead of useless hatred messages?
It appears that most posters lacks useful facts or reasonable projections, and hence unable to present anything useful.
Example 1, BHI lost over $900 million in Q1, 2016, how many cuts are needed to go back to break even?
Example 2, what havs been the revenue trend of each business segment -- drill bits, drilling, wireline, chemicals, completion, production, pressure pumping and so on? From that history, you can get a good estimate.
Complaining may be theraupudic, but adds nothing to the genre.
