One interviewer didn't think Enrollment was "sales", when in fact we are selling a overpriced degree. What are your thoughts? I'll be checking back for your input, or you can find me asleep at my desk, in the can, or at Ralphs Food Truck. Ciao.

Should be able to get a job selling used GM cars that are on the brink of killing the driver. About as ethical as what you guys have been doing.
Of course it's a sales role, never mind what the liars in management drone on about. This ship is sinking and may not recover. Here's hoping UOP is the next Corinthian.
I work in HR and your job in enrollment is categorized in sales and marketing. You work a sales job. You are not certified as a licensed counselor. Theres a reason why you are called an enrollment representative and not an advisor.
By law they will tell you it is not sales, but when it is broken down they judge you on how many students you bring in. The give it fancy names like success factors but in the end, they all have student goals to meet and if you do not make your goals your out FAST. They make it very competitive against your co workers sometimes it feels like the hunger games people will lie and steal students from you there is always a battle. It is hard to get new leads and they feed the people who have been there the longest. No room to improve and move up. Stay away
