You lied and told me I would have job offers and I never get interviews I only have 40K in student loans. This school is bullshit.

I love when people try to defend this dump when they compare UOP courses to real" university courses. I have had countless students who graduated UOP tell me they NEVER read a thing, in any course, and they graduated with a 3.5GPA or higher. This is the rule and not the exception at UOP. Apollo Education: bilking the taxpayer since 1976.
@HxywBFm-1jsl, you make some valid points about public education--but you are still rationalizing questionable behavior. Some schools are getting so desperate for numbers that they are becoming less selective. This is all part of the US college meltdown......................................................https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/elites-profit-us-college-meltdown-continues-dahn-shaulis?trk=mp-author-card
Edumacation here is like buying a happy meal when you should have bought a big Mac meal. Halfway through the drive you realize you fkd up but it is too late to turn around.
Camden, these students are adults. If you look at the course syllabi in the different UOP programs, it's fundamentally the same as for other schools in terms of textbooks, and the material to read/study. UOP has only one or two assignments per week, in addition to participation. A person who did read all the chapters/textbooks, did complete all the assignments, and posted thought out participation would have been just as well prepared as a student from a second tear state school. Trouble is that most people going to UOP don't have the time, personal discipline or intellectual ability to do all that work on their own. Hence, when they show up for an interview, they can't answer specific questions related to their field of study. That is a tragic reality that can be prevented by having meaningful admission requirements. Oh, BTW, the "legit" schools are doing away with admission requirements like SATs, or solid grades because they too want to increase admission and their bottom line. Last I saw in the news, some legit schools admit people just with a video sent from their phones. What a joke!
Somehow a few posters cannot imagine that UoPX students and former students might be angry about their debt and job prospects? Or they think that the only people complaining are beneath them morally--people who must have been gaming the system? This is the same mentality that we saw before Enron collapsed and before the mortgage meltdown.
Cumdump is everywhere trolling all the for-profit layoff boards. He tries to gather inside information from the employees and then spread rumors. He's been doing this for years because he can't find a real job.
OP sounds like Camden Kid. Is that you, troll?
Many students that went to UoP were looking for easy Pell money, a college degree obtained without having to do much more than chatting on the discussion threads a few days a week, plagiarizing papers and googling answers to the tests. If that was what you did, you didn't learn a thing. That would be the reason you can't find a job.
Why would UOP forgive your loans? They did not fund your phony education. Contact the U.S. Department of Education.

Have you tried crying about it? That might help. Let me guess, you received Pell Grant but still requested the max in loans so you could live off the excess funds? Now, you have your degree but no experience cause you didn't work. So, as a result you can't find a job and you believe that to be UoPs fault. Let me explain something to you, no one is going to forgive your student loans not even g@y azz Obama.
@BS--I transferred in 50 credits and received Pell Grants. I was lied to you insensitive dick. I want UOP to forgive my loans. The school is a joke just like you BS, full of Shiite.
Ok, we know this post is bullsh!t trying to stir the pot. No enrollment rep is going to tell you that cause they don't care if you get a job. Second, 40k? You should have way more debt than that if you really graduated from UOP. Move along troll!
