Anyone know the backstory? Was she fired? Or just leave on her own?

cox leaving... maybe GK does know she was utter bullshit and a waste of space.
Bad hires like schroeder are typically how good companies go down the crapper. Promote a smooth-talking douche like that to VP without checking him out thoroughly and the cancer begins. He has zero respect for those below him on the org chart and doesn't hesitate to abuse them. The days of NetApp code and culture have died.
I agree completely that Schroeder is utterly worthless. I am one of his direct reports and am going to go to emc once my rsu's vest in July
GK thinks Cox/Schroeder are great leaders. The fact that he didn't shoot cox underscores his freaking incompetence. I am leaving NetApp soon as this place is very toxic and I don't want to be Schroeder's homeboy.
Yes, Schroeder is a joke - a big joke. Not a leader, not a mentor, not a role model, nor innovative. A boy trying to do a man's job.
cox needed to go years ago once she was out of the support center. schroeder is nothing more than a 40-something college bro getting drunk at company dinners and generally being a douche. take other folks' efforts, claim your team did them, VP title at all costs. drink heavily and love lacrosse then you too can be schroeder's homeboy.
Agreed... She was not only useless, but clueless as well.
She was literally useless. Now she can go ruin Adobe now. NetApp going to crap until Kurian rids itself of cancers like Cox and Schroeder.
She was doing CDOT. Looks like the ship is floundering in rough waters....
Something about rats and sinking ships I think..
I think they simply ran out of initiatives to assign her.
Candor!
Clarity!
Coalescence!
Confusion!
I think the point here is that the first mates know the ship is sinking before the rest of the crew.
It's a political position, CIOs do nothing
Does it matter?
She didn't do jack at NetApp anyways.
Wasn't she NetApp's VP of Initiative Of The Day?
