it is disheartening to think about it but, though this is a downturn which is affecting so many people very unfortunately whether they merit it or not, others have seemed to really gain from it financially, professionally or whatever whether they merit it ir not. the vast majority just sitting back hoping it all passes them by unoticed - whether they merit it or not.
