I am getting the impression that EAs are being SYSTEMATICALLY pressured to register students who are clearly unqualified for college work. Apollo Group got into trouble in 2004 because of this--for activity that had been going on since 1998. This activity also brought down Corinthian Colleges and forced them into bankruptcy. If this harassment from bosses is happening to you, please ensure that you document all conversations and correspondence so that you can take it to the appropriate authorities (e.g. HLC, DoED) if they do not respond appropriately. This is not an easy task, especially if you have to confront people about anything unethical that's being done. They sure did when I worked there! I enrolled people with no computer, no computer experience, no preparation, etc. My manager would listen to my calls and constantly badger me as to why I didn't push harder. Like telling someone with no car and no public transportation she could have done her work from the local library even though she had no way to get there. I literally took that job because they were the first ones to call after I graduated. I regret the entire time I worked in that boiler room.
I would enroll a box of Tide if I could. Feed the mill and get paid. 93k a year baby!

Let's cut to the chase. Finance thinks enrollment encourages unqualified students. Enrollment Representatives are required to enroll everyone and not make judgements. Enrollment managers demand no less. Now if regulators are looking for documentation, they have to look no further than the flip chart "Our purpose is to help students begin their journey". This sales presentation was taught to every enrollment rep as of 2012 and many weeks were spent on the sales process. Regulators have to look no further than this flip chart as it promotes mind control, poking the pain, and a funnel of fear.
Hey Camden Kid once again, where do we report these issues too?!!! Please reply clearly because my degree is from UOPX. I have been in enrollment for 5 years I make $62k/yr no one else is going to pay me that anywhere else. So the boss lady tells me that I have to enroll anyone that calls in. I mean ANYONE, if they are in a homeless shelter oh well, if they are slow or developmentally delayed oh well, if they have a learning disability oh well, I don't have the tools or the training to deal with those issues. If I send them an email on how to complete the enrollment process and the lead does the steps what do you want me to do about it. There are no entrance exams, there is no home visit to see if he/she has a computer, if they stutter or can't read the Application Center webpage while completing what do you want me to do about it. I am being told by my boss that the potential student has the right to attend and its in my metrics to enroll students. Camden Kid if you have so much information over years of having this site why haven't YOU done something about it? Because every school does it, that's why!!!! Every school has homeless students, every school has the disadvantaged every school has mentally challenged people. Thats why you would try to go to school! So who are we supposed to report these details too?!

This is not earth shattering news. This has always been the practice. Detroit they were going to the homeless shelter to enroll students. Texas campus got popped by 60 min 6 years ago. It was this same crap that started the GAO investigation. Nothing new same Cappelli BS to try to make numbers to avoid lawsuits from stockholders.
They want you to enroll anyone who can complete the enrollment and financial aid applications. I enrolled more than one homeless person in my time there. Thank golly for lie-berries.
If you have been forced to register people who are mentally challenged, have you reported it? When Corinthian Colleges was doing this, a librarian named Laurie McConnell reported this. You're joking, right? The scumbag managers "force" EAs to enroll ANYONE, even people who are mentally-challenged. Management have no scruples or principles. They are total car salesmen.
