I was working in Algeria and i can tell you that people there aren't qualified or trained enough...everyone Knows some jerk to get a job...we have so Many NPT...and still they are laying off the most compétent foreign people and keeping their stupid algerian people...what a shame...such a great company...with Arabic management! I can tell you that some operators over there don't Know How to write their names!!

Indians are taking jobs away from Americans. Greedy big corporations are opting for cheap overseas labor and replacing American workers by handing out these visas increasing unemployment and putting American workers out of work. It's a corrupt system and must be stopped!

I worked for Halliburton in 3 countries and I can confirm that the worst management ever is in Algeria (cementing PSL)
Compentence is not the first criterium not to be laid off. People are kept in their positions just because they belong to the country or know someone there, no matter how incompetent they are.
don't blame Algerian NTPs, blame the f---ing useless management over here in the states not knowing how to balance their workforce. Halliburton made sh-- load of money in Africa, at minimum have a moral obligation to develop locals and have expats to assist with that while demonstrating their company is worth of the big contracts they get.
Yeah mate i've seen cementing engineers with 5 years experience, over there that doesn't Know what the elite looks like...sh--ty camp...
