Worst management I've ever worked for , extremely inexperienced, uneducated, and unprofessional. If you want to feel worthless than this is the company for you.

I was amazed at the lack of work ethic when I worked at ABC, especially from the tenured employees that had worked for the company for 30 some years...KC and JN to name a couple of non-productive, slide by doing as little as possible employees. A female co-worker got away with working from her 'king size bed' because the boss had the hots for her, spending all hours of the day texting back and forth with her, and spending all hours with her at Hooters in Las Vegas at the company trade show...GA was his name. When the company started putting more and more pressure on us to "sell more pills", that is when I started feeling as though the patient was not the priority...just the volume of pills...it was a relief when I got laid off with a great severance package...giving me time to regroup and find a better fit for my moral and ethics...

This is what happens when you have too many cheifs and not enough Indians. Big headed suits being brought in with their own ideas and agendas not willing to listen to the team, the ones on the front lines doing the work. Rather than caring for those that are working the business, they walk all over them until enough is enough. All the good people jumped ship leaving the crap behind. Try to manage with a worthless set of people who can't work their way out of a wet paper bag and boom, disaster. So sad.

Company in financial crisis. Massive layoffs to those aged 50+. Absolute disgrace. Corporate greed since new CEO.

This once great company has become a disgrace. The people who have been cut from AmerisourceBergen in the past 3-5 years were pharmacy industry professionals, regardless of the department they worked in they knew the pharmacy business from the small independents to the giant chains they understood every aspect of the business. They knew their customers on a first name basis & went above & beyond the call of their jobs. They did this because they were proud, hard working & trustworthy people proud to work for AmerisourceBergen. Then the mergers started with other wholesalers, then partial mergers with Walgreens (Walgreens owns 19% of AmerisourceBergen)they have replaced the well experienced industry experts with people who know nothing about the industry at all. Now you ask who does this benefit? The customers? No not at all. The shareholders? No not at all just look at the stock price over the past 3 years. This benefits the corporate executives yes the big shots, the suits, the people who could trip over a large customer & not know it. It's just very sad that the people who built AmerisourceBergen into a industry leader were all pushed aside. Jobs that paid very well have been eliminated. The reason is the government has allowed these wholesalers to grow to where 3 companies control over 95% of the pharmaceutical wholesale market. Now that's a problem because you know what makes companies better? Prices cheaper? Employees hardworking & loyal? COMPETITION!53
