It's "you're", you ignorant quim. Oh, and I was laid off there. Do you think I give a shiny one who gets the bullet now? I honestly would not care if the whole company went belly up and put you all on the scrap heap. I'll bet that there's more than a few tossed aside would agree with me.

When I was shown the door I knew that "sympathy" was to be found in the dictionary between "sh1t" and "syphilis."

Do one you wanker!

Dear -1jyl,

Why did you capitalize the "L" in language? That was some mighty fine big talk there, little guy. Are you offering me out for a fight?

Just to add; If you wrote an application letter/resume to a potential employer in the style of an angst-riddled txt spkng oik, regardless of your stellar professional achievements, do you think they would even bother getting to the end? Thought not.

You're welcome.

It may be the case that many are having trouble with their grammar, however, they don't need some arrogant anal retentive prick giving them a hard time about it. Go to the English Language forum if you want to discuss it further.

I cannot be alone in reading some of the posts on here in some despair. Why is it too much to expect written English to be error-free? Everyone has access to spell-checkers yet the abortion of a sentence proffered by Beengone is fairly typical.

We seem to be in a race to the bottom when it comes to basic grammar and spelling.

Before I am accused of being "management" or any other derogatory terms; I'm not. I was an employee of Weatherford for some time. I was deemed no longer required and shown the door. I stressed and wondered what I'd done wrong. I was then lucky enough to find secure work outside the industry. I've never been happier. I mostly come on here for a dose of schadenfreude but some of you morons need to finish grade school before thinking about further employment.
