Did all the stores get their IMAs laid off?

Our store let go our IMAs this week. Kept two PT ones.

Do anyone on the corporate inventory team get let go, or just those of us at store level?

The inventory team. Newer, smaller stores may not even have them.

Many customers do not want to be engaged with. They actually give me the dismissive attitude that they will ask me for help if they need it and I should politely go away. We are supposed to ask them what brings them into our store? Good grief! Nowadays people are offended if lowly retail clerks dare ask such a personal question. In their eyes, outfitters are people who have a loser retail job and should not bother them.

Hamburg did also. Kept 2 out of 6. One ft and one pt I believe. Out of all the people hired since the store opened only a handful are left. Which dept. is next? Hamburg store is implementing the "engage with the customer" I guess instead of the core values. We all know that the core values don't mean anything in that store. Maybe they should have a sticker to put on the customer to show that they were already "engaged with" so they are not "engaged with" 10 times before they leave the store. Great way to piss off some people.

Yup. My store had 3 full time IMA's, none wanted the part time job. We opened a little over a year ago and have almost none of the original outfitters left.
