A lot of discouraged people yesterday in the new wing of the building. People work loads are being marginalized...That's a sign. Bad place to be and let's be honest..The process of elimination is personal...not about the work. If your boss and HR do not like you...You will be gone with a package. Seems like the folks they kept in years ago from prior layoff are really being targeted in the many rounds of layoffs. Keep your heads up people and don't let Colgate get you down. The people they are keeping are not smart but worker bees and yes people.. Go out to new jobs and prosper. I wish Ruben Mark would come back....

Bull on Reuben caring about the American worker. I can remember when the mandate was to bust as many union facilities. First it was Berkley (that was a cluster in itself) since the workers cheered when they said we shut down the man knowing that they lost their jobs. Then Jersey City, Then Kansas City and finally Jeffersonville. All of them coincidentally the PACE facilities. The Jeffersonville one hurt even though they made a $73 million profit before they closed and were still selling products from the base plan at that facility to other companies. And they still were making SLES/SPES at a lower cost than Stepan at that time
Yes, Ruben was great for the company, but Frank M. was also an awesome leader and made GIT what it is. When he left, GIT has been on the decline.
They are axing all the people who know how to do anything. All the new guys don't know sh--, and the poor, overworked bastards in India know even less. Once Jan 1st hits, Colgate is going to be in a sh-- storm like no one has ever seen. You get what you pay for. I hope MC and TG choke on the sh-- they are spewing.

Yes, Ruben Mark watched over CP in much better times. Seems Colgate has forgotten it's roots and seems hell bent on eliminating as many American workers as possible.
