Right on. It's amazing but true. Qualcomm is a company with zero interest in honorable hiring practices or EOE. How is it this company has escaped EOE lawsuits?!!

Talk to upper management and see why they are outsourcing jobs.

Excuse me, but there're plenty of U.S citizens here who aren't white, so better curb your bigotry and focus your anger on the H1B abusers who are the ones taking our jobs.

Racism on the basis of ethnicity is definitely condemn worthy, but the victims of racism also need to understand that they cannot fuel racism further & we Indians have always stoke that fire of racism in US corporates, by our sectarian behavior

Those who speak Hindu or Mandarin are also us citizens.

I'm just glad Qualcomm has rounded them all up in one place. When I left the Q, it was refreshing to find companies with true diversity and talent. Qualcomm hires the worst of the worst as they don't really need good engineers. They just integration people to repackage pieces and parts they've bought from other companies.

When the SOC business shuts down next year, a lot people will be going back to their home country. Not enough jobs in the valley to absorb the layoffs.

I worked at Qualcomm 20+ years until I retired last year. From the day I started there were people who communicate more quickly with each other in a language other than English. People I worked closely with would regularly communicate in Hebrew. Often in customer and partner meetings, our customers and partners would speak their native language between themselves as well. In time, the languages spoken at Qualcomm diversified. What is the big deal? Any time we all need to communicate, the language defaults to English, which made my life easier. I never had to learn any other language.
